My background and orientation
I'm fully licensed in Connecticut and New York as a clinical social worker (LCSW) and I've been a practicing psychotherapist since 2017, when I completed my graduate degree at Southern Connecticut State University. I offer in-person sessions in New Haven, CT as well as telehealth/online therapy sessions to clients throughout CT and NY.
My graduate program and internships were oriented towards cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I also completed an additional two years of postgraduate training in psychodynamic therapy through the Western New England Institute for Psychoanalysis (2018-2020). My clinical approach is informed by both theoretical orientations and their respective techniques, but my overall approach to treatment is client-centered, individually tailored, and eclectic.
My office is located near downtown and the East Rock neighborhood in New Haven and is accessible by public transportation. I offer sessions both in-person at my office (Tuesdays and Thursdays only) and virtually through a secure video telehealth platform on weekdays.
My clinical interests and specialties are intentionally wide-ranging because I prefer to work with a diverse group of clients and presenting problems. To provide a little more detail about the types of clients and problems I work with, I have listed a number of areas that I have particular expertise or experience with in the specialties section below.
PLEASE NOTE: I participate in the insurance networks listed below only for clients in Connecticut. I cannot accept insurance in New York but will offer sliding scale fees to NY clients who qualify.
